What is Laser Tattoo Removal?

DO I NEED TO HAVE A SKIN CHECK BEFORE MY TRETAMENT?
Yes, you are required to have a valid skin check done prior to your treatment. Please bring a copy of this with you to your first appointment.
do I need to book a consultation first?
No you don't need to book a consultation first. You can definitely book straight in for your first laser treatment. If you have any questions, you can call the clinic prior to your booking on 0472 500 124.
Does tattoo removal hurt?
The degree of discomfort varies with each person depending on the nature and location of the tattoo on the body. We use safe laser technology for faster and more comfortable tattoo removal.

How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments will vary with each person. Age, location, depth, size and type of tattoo all play a role in the number of treatments required. All tattoos will require several treatments to achieve optimal results.
How much will my treatment cost?
The cost of your treatment will depend on the area and condition being treated. We have an estimated price guide available on our website otherwise you can book in a consultation with our laser technician to discuss your tattoo removal treatment and receive an accurate quote.
How often can I have treatments?
The recommended wait time between treatments is 6-12 weeks. Minimum 6 weeks.
I just got a new tattoo and I hate it, can I remove it?
Unfortunately, your tattoo will need to be at least 3 months old before we can begin any laser tattoo removal treatments.
Can you remove coloured tattoos?
Yes, the PicoWay laser removes all colour tattoos.
Can your laser be used on all skin types?
Yes! PicoWay offers better results in fewer treatments for different skin types.
Are there any side effects?
After treatments, patients may experience side effects such as redness and swelling in the treated area. There is also the possibility of discolouration at the site of removal however this is temporary and the skin typically will resolve back to a normal skin tone.
Can I use numbing cream and do you provide it?
Yes, you can use numbing cream prior to your treatment. We have some available to purchase in the clinic however we cannot apply it for you.
Will my tattoo leave a scar?
Scaring is a very rare but possible complication. Our laser technician will discuss this with you during your consultation.
Can you remove eyebrow tattoos?
Yes! Our machine allows us to remove all tattoos, including eyebrow tattoos.
